Once upon a time… 

In quarantine as a college freshman, I drifted back to the stories my mother and father used to tell me, about heroes in peach orchards promising to save the world, about phoenixes rising from the ashes, about a bridge of birds ascending the milky way.

I aimed to draw those stories to life. And over the course of three years 78 prints based on the stories and mythologies of China, Korea, Japan, and Viet Nam were created, enough for a tarot deck.

Tarot has always brought comfort, hope, and happiness to my family and friends. Reading tarot for the people I love is one of my favorite things to do. I wanted to combine my passions, memorializing the stories of my heritage with the prescience of my passion.
